Medford Photographer Earns Top Honors

Sponsored by the Burlington County Freeholders, the exhibit will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11am to 3pm. Admission is free. An opening reception will be held Tuesday, July 22, from 7 to 9.m.
The exhibit will include pieces by photographers from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Many of the pieces will be available for purchase, and both traditional and digital photography will be featured, ranging from portraits to landscapes, abstract images to photojournalism, and candid snapshots to nature studies. The juror for the show was Stephen Perloff, founder and editor of The Photo Review, editor of The Photograph Collector, and editor of Focus Magazine.
First and second places went to John Ciecierski of Medford for “Forsythe Savannah” and “Nuthatch Wing” respectively. Third place went to Tom Scheckels of Moorestown for “Ice Fields.”
Honorable mentions went to Robert Chappell of Mount Laurel for “Mesa Arch at Daybreak” and Ralph Berglund of Cherry Hill for “Bicycle Park.”
