8-4 - Who would have thunk it! I think every Eagles fan in their right mind has to be excited at what`s going on this year. But, before you get carried away… The Birds face 2 tough tests in the next 2 weeks. They could easily need to take their last 2 (very winnable) games to get to 10-6, and even then the playoffs might be tough this year. Can they take it this week in Washington? Read on…

The Pats are awful. The Lions should win as usual on Turkey Day.

This should be a good game. The loser probably has to nearly run the table to make the playoffs. Say goodnight, Bills.

The Chiefs are desperate – the Chargers suck.

As much as I`d like to see the Cards knock off the sissies from the Meadowlands, don`t bet on it. The Giants need a win. Bad.

This game is better than the records indicate. The Jags are healthy and have some weapons. This is a close call, but I have to bet on Eddie George carrying the load.

The Rams are embarrassed, and Trent Green wants to go back to the bench a winner. The Saints are back to the Aints.

I hope my streak continues – I very rarely have been right when I`ve picked the Birds to lose. The Skins are just to experienced. McNabb will keep it close, though.
