(Portland, ME)- Trenton hit four solo homers off Portland`s Claudio Vargas en route to a 4-3 win over the Sea Dogs on Sunday afternoon.

Jess Graham hit two of the solo shots with R.J Johnson and Garry Maddox adding the others.

Portland (43-41) scored twice in the 1st Inning off Andy Hazlett to grab the early lead.

Trenton (45-42) countered with solo shots from Graham and Johnson to tie the game at 2-2. Maddox added hit solo homer in the 4th Inning to make it a 3-2 lead.

The Sea Dogs got a run in the bottom of the 4th Inning to tie it at 3-3, but Graham connected for the 2nd of his homers in the 5th Inning to give the Thunder the lead for good.

Hazlett (3-0) went five innings for the win. He allowed three runs on five hits with six strikeouts. Terrance Hill and Mark Cisar worked the final four innings, with Cisar getting his 1st save for Trenton.

The Thunder and Sea Dogs will wrap up their series on Monday at 12 noon. Mike Kusiewicz (4-4) starts for the Thunder against Portland`s Mike Drumright (4-8).
