Vegas Hags Pigskin Picks

by Vegas Hags | Oct 13, 2002
Vegas Hags Pigskin Picks It was a good rebound week for me last week. Too bad the Eagles took a fall. As usual, the NFL is all about parity (except when the Bengals play). This week features a few more good divisional games, but unfortunately the Eagles are on bye. I think I smell a few upsets – click on to read all the dirt.

Pittsburgh (minus 6½) at Cincinnati
The Steelers will start to make a run now and the Bengals will continue to hide.
STEELERS 24 – BENGALS 13

Detroit (plus 4½) at Minnesota
Yick! I don’t need to see this car wreck of a game.
VIKINGS 28 – LIONS 25

Green Bay (plus 4½) at New England
This Should be a heck of a game if the Patriots from the first few weeks of the season show up.
PATS 30 – PACKERS 27

Cleveland (plus 7) at Tampa Bay
The Browns have no healthy QB’s left.
BUCCANEERS 27 – BROWNS 17

Jacksonville (minus 2) at Tennessee
I think the Jags have a letdown here.
TITANS 20 – JAGUARS 17

New Orleans (minus 1) at Washington
Patrick Ramsey looks better than the other losers in DC, but I think the Saints keep rolling.
SAINTS 34 – SKINS 27

Oakland (minus 7) at St. Louis
No Garner for the Raiders, but no Warner (or any other legitimate QB for the Rams), either.
RAIDERS 35 – RAMS 24

Carolina (plus 2) at Dallas
The Panthers should step up to the plate here, although the Pokes have been tougher than anticipated.
PANTHERS 17 COWBOYS 14

Atlanta (even) at New York Giants
No Vick = no victory.
GIANTS 24 – FALCONS 10

Buffalo (minus 7½) at Houston
The Bills are fun to watch. The Texans are not.
BILLS 37 TEXANS 17

Baltimore (plus 5½) at Indianapolis
No Ray Lewis for the Ravens? Have fun Peyton!
COLTS 24 – RAVENS 17

Kansas City (plus 3) at San Diego
Too many of the Chargers defensive stars are nicked up for them to keep the Chiefs down.
CHIEFS 27 – CHARGERS 21

Miami (plus 3½) at Denver
The Broncos are tough at home and this should be a good game. Why isn’t this the MNF game? I don’t want to watch Seattle! I still think the Fish are the better team in this one.
DOLPHINS 20 – BRONCOS 17

San Francisco (minus 3) at Seattle
Seattle is looking a little better, but the Niners should win here going away.
49ERS 28 – SEAHAWKS 20

Vegas Hags record to date:
Against the spread: 47-26
Straight up: 49-24

Relax and enjoy the games. Don’t worry, the Eagles will be back next week!
