Denver (+1½) at Baltimore Danny Kanell? Enough said!

Ravens 17 – Broncos 16

Detroit (+3) at Chicago Will they even show this game in Chicago and Detroit? These two offenses actually make the Eagles look competent. I guess someone has to win this debacle – go with the home team.

Bears 21 – Lions 17

Seattle (-1½) at Cincinnati Closer than you think (check the line), but the Hawks still take it.

Seahawks 26 – Bungles 23

Tennessee (-3½) at Jacksonville This line scares me, but the Titans look like the real deal.

Titans 28 – Jags 20

New York Giants (+5½) at Minnesota The Giants are desperate, the Vikings are due for a fall. The upset of the week…

Giants 20 – Vikings 17

Cleveland (+5½) at New England Two Jekyll-and-Hyde teams.

Pats 23 – Browns 20

Carolina (+2) at New Orleans Carolina gets back on track against a mediocre Saints team.

Panthers 16 – Saints 13

St. Louis (+1½) at Pittsburgh This should be a great game. It could become an aerial show or the Bus could carry the load. Either way, the Steelers are due for a bounce back.

Steelers 27 – Rams 24

Dallas (+6½) at Tampa Bay The Bucs get back on track and the Cowboys are finally exposed. They have actually played the opposite role thus far…

San Francisco (+6½) at Arizona The Cards are awful.

49ers 28 – Cardinals 17

Houston (-13) at Indianapolis Colts romp.

Colts 35 – Texans 20

New York Jets (+3) at Philadelphia Which defense or special teams can score? They may be the only points of this game! Actually, I think the Jets will play confused as they try to play both Vinny and Pennington. I also think the Eagles will finally move the ball a bit as Andy “stubborn as a mule” Reid changes up the game plan a bit to fit the teams strengths (I can wish, can’t I?). Donovan needs a break-out game and I think he’ll post it here.

Eagles 23 – Jets 17

Buffalo (+6½) at Kansas City This will be a good game – much better than the MNF match-up. I think the Chiefs are due for that first loss and the Bills play the kind of game that could deliver the blow. Look for a close game and a tough loss for the Chiefs. Upset special # 2…

Bills 27 – Chiefs 24

Miami (-3) at San Diego The Chargers are brutal and the Dolphins know it’s still October. Not as close as the spread says.
